My latest post about Gochiusa News went up with agonizing detail. It is a bit on the margins for the blog in that it tackles media ecology with full fidelity, but "on the margins" is how I would describe most of the blog already. Knowing the little readership the Muneo House article got, I'm not expecting a world of difference here. Both of these articles are categorically subculture that have almost no English documentation, which is why I ofen prefer to lean into the agonizing detail. I'm not too offended if the supplementing analysis doesn't land with as much value. I also can't say I expect anyone to read it in a digital ecology of dying search engines, where "1" no longer returns the first episode of Gochiusa.

I picked up an X270 to replace my X230 and I'm pretty happy with the choice. While I have stretched the X230 a lot, even putting a USB-C charging mod in, it's long in the tooth at this point and the battery protrusion makes it poor for actually keeping in the lap. The X270 is an ideal form factor to me, plus I think you do gain a lot of modern convenience back (Power Delivery, modern trackpad, IPS, split battery) for what you do lose in the jump. Word of advice from someone who worked in IT around the X240-X270 models: it's worth placing rubber standoffs under the memory module or being delicate when holding them at the corners, though especially on the X270.

Bijou's bumpers and one of the more impactful renditions of Weight of the World (outside of Shannon) might set a new bar for 3D lives. That's a common refrain for me, enough that you shouldn't take the claim seriously when I'd have to go back to review which ones I have said this for already (Marine's third anniversary showa live still kicks ass). What I will remember it for, undoubtedly, is multi-stream drifting with Game 7 as it went into extra innings. Lest anyone believe Hololive magic isn't real, the go-ahead run was scored during the debut for ROCK IN. The superstition of baseball fans also shouldn't be dishonored, so I look forward to getting back to Dodger Stadium next year. I'd rather fly cross-country for guacamole takoyaki instead of AX.

If there's anything I want to shout from the roof right now, it's nyalra, Haraguchi Sasuke, and namitape teaming up for a moe analog patching angel inspired by Kraftwerk. That's sabukaru, folks!
